Africa-Press – Mozambique. The rehabilitation works on the morgue annex at Maputo Central Hospital (HCM), which include the repair of the refrigeration chambers with a view to reopening services to residents, are progressing well, a development that will improve health infrastructure and the provision of quality services.
During a visit carried out by Maputo City’s Councillor for Health and Quality of Life, Alice de Abreu, it was noted that the works are already at an advanced stage, and at this point 36 drawers have been tested, corresponding to 60% of the total number of chambers that were previously out of order, while the remaining drawers require replacement of the compressors.
