Africa-Press – Mozambique. A 40-year-old woman died in Quelimane this morning after falling from a ‘My Love’ open passenger transport van.
The accident occurred on the extension of Avenida Julius Nyerere in the Aquima – Hospital Central stretch.
The victim was travelling to work in Quelimane Central Market.
Police said the lady suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene of the accident.
Police stood guard over the victim’s body lying in the street until 7.00 a.m. this morning.
