Africa-PressNamibia. The search for a three-year-old boy who went missing at Lüderitz four days ago is set to continue tomorrow.

Spencer Mandela Nakale, who is brown in complexion, went missing on 28 December (Monday this week), about ten days after he had arrived from the Ohangwena region to spend the holiday with his mother at Lüderitz. He was wearing a red t-shirt, a blue trouser and sandals when he was last seen.Lüderitz mayor Anna-Marie Hartzenberg says the search has reached a point where the community should continue to be vigilant while the police continue with their investigation to find the boy. “We have worked together hand in hand with our police to cover all areas of Lüderitz. Our way forward is just to keep searching wherever we go until we find our little Mandela,” said Hartzenberg on Friday. Community members will gather again on Saturday at 07h00 at the Area 7 play park to continue with the search. The residents will also hold a first candlelight vigil on 3 January (Sunday) in support of the missing boy and hopes of finding him alive. People with information about Mandela’s whereabouts can contact his parents, Julia and Mandela, at 081 695 4974 or 081 219 3691, or chief inspector Kotungondo at 081 355 1422, or the investigating officer, detective warrant officer Kenehama, at 081 317 6432.
