Africa-Press – Namibia. AS the year draws to a close, the Ministry of Works and Transport has called on its staff to use the festive season to rest, reflect, and prepare for the year ahead. In a message to employees, Minister Veikko Nekundi, MP, highlighted the collective achievements of the Ministry in 2025 and encouraged staff to return in 2026 with renewed energy and commitment to serving the nation.
Minister Nekundi described the Ministry as more than just a workplace, calling it a “team bound by purpose” whose shared dedication drives the success of its mandate. He urged employees to spend quality time with their families, recognising that personal commitment is “the indispensable fuel” behind the Ministry’s achievements.
“As this chapter of the year closes, let the festive season serve not just as a pause, but as a profound affirmation of the unbreakable bond and shared purpose that defines our Ministry,” Minister Nekundi said. “Every triumph and challenge overcome this year is a testament to the collective strength and transformative power of this extraordinary team. I expect you to return in the New Year not just refreshed, but ignited with a unified drive to confront the future and achieve even greater, lasting impact for the people we serve.”
He concluded by wishing all staff a Merry Christmas and a rewarding 2026.
