Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs (MODVA) has announced that Major General (Retired) Charles Dickson Ndaxu Phillip “Ho Chi Minh” Namoloh has been hospitalised and is in critical condition.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Colonel Petrus Shilumbu, Head of Public Relations, confirmed that Namoloh was admitted to Mediclinic two weeks ago.
“The Ministry expresses deep concern regarding the health of the former distinguished and fearless ex-PLAN commander, retired general of the NDF, seasoned diplomat, and politician,” he said.
He added that their thoughts, prayers, and best wishes are with Namoloh, his family, and all those affected by his hospitalisation.
Shilumbu then appealed to the media, the public, friends, and comrades to respect the privacy of Namoloh and his family during this period of medical care.
He said that further updates on Major General Namoloh’s health condition will be provided jointly by the family and the MODVA as deemed appropriate.
