Africa-Press – Nigeria. Surveillance Operatives of “B” Division in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State led by CSP Josephine Ekebuike on patrol along Arubayi Street by Polokor Market have recovered a tricycle with two(2)locally fabricated double-bareel guns.

Also recovered are nine(9)assorted mobile phones, four(4)power banks and a screw driver.

The Police recovered the items on 16th November, 2025, at about 0930hrs,t.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer,SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement on Tuesday.

The Police Image maker said the surveillance Operatives were on patrol when they observed a tricyclist conveying two passengers and riding aggressively against traffic at high speed.

According to him,”The suspicious behaviour immediately prompted the operatives to engage in a pursuit.

“The chase continued into First Marine Quarters, where the rider and passengers abruptly abandoned the tricycle and fled through adjoining streets.”

He noted that,”The operatives recovered the tricycle and conducted a thorough search, which led to the discovery of two (2) locally fabricated double-barrel guns.

“Other items recovered at the scene included: Nine (9) assorted mobile phones, four (4) power banks, and a screwdriver.”

SP Edafe said,”The entire area has since been cordoned off, with intensified stop-and-search operations ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects.”
