Africa-Press – Nigeria. Chidera Ejuke has backed his compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho to make positive contributions at Sevilla.
Iheanacho joined the LaLiga club on a free transfer this summer.
The Nigeria international is however yet to make a meaningful impact at the club.
The 28-year-old has made five appearances for the Saints with no goal or assist to his name.
Ejuke however believed Iheanacho will soon rediscover his best form.
“Kelechi is a great guy. He’s a good player,” Ejuke told Marca.
“That’s why Victor Orta brought him to Sevilla. He’s a striker and he wants to score goals; he wants to help the team.”
