Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier Nduhungirehe, is in Australia on a working visit targeting a series of diplomatic meetings.

The visit, which began on Thursday, August 14, will see the minister hold diplomatic meetings and participate in the Australian Leadership Retreat, held under the theme “Integrated Strategic Investment”, according to a statement posted by the ministry on X.

The retreat is a premier gathering of leaders from government, business, and civil society, focusing on strategic opportunities and partnerships.

Australia, officially known as the Commonwealth of Australia, is both a country and a continent, formed through the federation of six states under a shared constitution.

Rwanda and Australia have enjoyed growing cooperation in various sectors, notably in education, tourism, scientific research, among other areas.

Located in the southern hemisphere between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, Australia holds a strategic position in global trade and diplomacy.
