Police 1-0 Amagaju
Police FC continued their winning streak in with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Amagaju in Rwanda Premier League at Kigali Pelé Stadium on Sunday, October 19.
The law enforcers had to wait until the 77th minute when Dieudonné Ndayishimiye broke the deadlock, converting a cross from Lague Byiringiro, to secure all three important points and keep their unbeaten run.
Police were aggressive offensively from the very start of the match as they looked to open the scoring early in the first half but Amagaju’s defense was in good shape as they kept the home side at bay until half time.
In the second half, Police FC immediately stepped up their game with pressing and broke the deadlock in the 77th minute.
Ben Mousa turned his side from offensive to defensive as they fought to prevent Amagaju from scoring an equalizer.
The Tunisian got his tactics right as the club won their fourth consecutive match in the league. Ndayishimiye was named man of match.
