Africa-Press – Seychelles. Maryse Mederic recognised for her 35-year tenure

Maryse Mederic has been rewarded for her 35 years of dedication and hard work during the Minister for Local Government and Community Affairs long service ceremony held at the Savoy Seychelles Resort and Spa yesterday evening.

Ms Mederic works as a records officer at the ministry. In an interview she shared her journey in employment, which began in 1990 in the tourism sector. She then joined the ministry as a receptionist, and later became a senior clerk before moving on to become a records officer, a post she holds to date.

“This 35 years is a big achievement and a progress that is not only for me but for my family and the country in general.”
