Africa-Press – Seychelles. The First Lady of the Republic of Rwanda, Jeannette Kagame, on Wednesday morning paid a courtesy call on Seychelles’ First Lady Linda Ramkalawan at the Family House, Bel Eau.
First Lady Kagame is accompanying her husband, Paul Kagame, who is on state visit here since Wednesday this week at the invitation of President Wavel Ramkalawan.
On her arrival at the Family House, First Lady Kagame was greeted by cheering children from the Bel Eau primary school and a group of senior citizens to the accompaniment of our traditional moutya played by two students, Adam Amade and Harrim Bouchereau, from Beau Vallon secondary school.
After being welcomed by First Lady Ramkalawan and the Minister for Youth, Sports and Family, Marie-Celine Zialor, First Lady Kagame had a tête à tête with her Seychellois counterpart and Minister Zialor in the Family House conference room.

Following the cultural performances, First Lady Ramkalawan, First Lady Kagame and Minister Zialor engaged in a photo session with the children and senior citizens.
After the session they proceeded to the garden where Mrs Ramkalawan and Mrs Kagame each planted a Rosecheria Melanochaetes tree (Lantannyen Oban), endemic to our country.
First Lady Kagame accompanied by First Lady Ramkalawan then took the road towards Domaine de Val des Pres Craft Village, Au Cap, to visit the village, including the Mize Koko, the museum dedicated to coconut, known as the tree of life.
