Africa-Press – Seychelles. Independent candidate Ralph Volcère names Bernard Port-Louis as his running mate
Ralph Volcère, the independent candidate for the upcoming presidential election scheduled for September 27, 2025, has officially named the President of One Seychelles political party, Bernard Port-Louis, as his running mate.
Seasoned journalist and passionate advocate for justice, Mr Volcère, 64, made the announcement during a press conference at the Seychelles National Library yesterday morning in the presence of Mr Port-Louis and other members of One Seychelles. Their slogan for the election is: ‘Transformasyon – En Sel Sesel’.
Both Mr Volcère and Mr Port-Louis said they have decided to go into the election as independent candidates after much consultation with the public during their door to door campaign where most people are fed up with partisan politics and are seeking to vote for independent candidates.
