Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Bo Rangers Football Club has officially appointed Joe Thomas as its new Executive Chairman, following the voluntary resignation of Babadi Kamara, who stepped down to better serve as President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).

The club’s Board of Directors announced that Thomas’ appointment takes effect immediately, tasking him with overseeing the club’s strategic direction, governance, and operational management in close collaboration with the Board and management team.

In a statement, the Board commended Thomas for his previous contributions as Director of Corporate Affairs, highlighting his leadership, governance discipline, and commitment to professional standards, which have helped position Bo Rangers for greater performance and sustainability.

“Under your stewardship, we look forward to driving growth, accountability, and on-field success for the club and its supporters,” the Board said in the letter.

This move marks a key leadership transition for Bo Rangers as the club seeks to strengthen its structure and continue its progress both on and off the field.
