Sierra Leone Names Squad for 2025 U-20 Women’s Tournament

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has unveiled the final squad that will represent the country in the Mano River Union U-20 Women’s Tournament, set to run from December 2nd to 6th, 2025, in Sierra Leone.

Head Coach Fatmata Turay has selected a promising and disciplined group of young players who, according to the SLFA, have shown outstanding performance and commitment during weeks of intensive training and test matches.

The Association congratulated the selected players and expressed gratitude to all athletes who took part in the training camp, noting that competition for places was strong.

With Sierra Leone hosting this year’s edition of the regional tournament, the U-20 women’s team is now putting the final touches on its preparations ahead of the kickoff in Bo City, where the nation will be hoping for a strong start on home soil.
