Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Global Leadership Summit presented an award to Francis Ben Kaifala Esq., Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), for his “fearless and transformative leadership in the fight against corruption, championing integrity, accountability, and justice in public life.”
The award was presented during the opening ceremony of the two-day summit held at Freetown City Hall on 6th November 2025.
Abubakarr Turay, Director of the ACC’s Public Education and Outreach Department, received the plaque on behalf of Commissioner Kaifala.
Upon receiving the award, Commissioner Kaifala shared on his social media page:
“More awards for the People’s Commissioner. My cup of awards literally keeps running over. Today, this was received at a global event, and the words on it speak for themselves. To more wins.”
He also added:
“They remind me that people are following and encouraging me to keep doing more. As you already know, when Mama prays, GREAT THINGS always happen.”
The award highlights Commissioner Kaifala’s dedication to promoting transparency and accountability in public life, reinforcing his role as a leading figure in Sierra Leone’s fight against corruption.
