League officials said the monthly honours are based on a structured evaluation system that combines statistical analysis, expert assessment, and fan input, rather than popularity alone.
For the Player of the Month, standout performers are first shortlisted based on contributions such as goals, assists, clean sheets, and overall influence on matches. Detailed match statistics and performance data play a key role in the selection process. Fans account for 10 percent of the vote through the league’s official social media platforms, while an independent panel of football analysts holds 90 percent, with the highest combined scorer declared the winner.
A similar method is used for the Manager of the Month award. Shortlisted managers are assessed on team results, tactical decisions, and their ability to overcome challenges such as injuries or difficult fixtures. Fans again contribute 10 percent of the vote, with the expert panel making up the remaining 90 percent.
League authorities said the system ensures credibility, blending professional insight with meaningful fan participation.
