Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Orange Sierra Leone has commenced its Ramadan Iftar donations during the holy month of Ramadan. MasJid Rahim at Gbanbayilla and Ilmo Zikri at Hill station were the first beneficiaries.
The two mosques benefited from food items like rice, flour, milk, Sugar, and oil among other things.The Chief Imams of the Masjids received the food items which is worth thousands of new Leones.
Ramadan is a holy month observed by Muslims. During this month, Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset every day. Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam, which also include faith, prayer, a pilgrimage to Mecca, and giving to charity.
