Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Dr. Moinina Sengeh, Chief Minister of the Republic of Sierra Leone, on Friday participated in a table tennis match with celebrated Paralympian George Wyndham at the Youth Sports Centre (YSC) in Freetown.
The event is part of the Chief Ministers’ ongoing Radical Inclusion campaign, an initiative focused on integrating individuals of all abilities into national development.
Dressed in sportswear, Chief Minister Sengeh engaged in an “energetic game” with Wyndham, attracting onlookers and symbolizing the government’s “commitment to fostering a just and inclusive society.”
Wyndham, a prominent figure in Sierra Leone’s Paralympic community, expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that such events “go a long way in breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes around disability.”
During the match, Chief Minister Sengeh stated, “This campaign is about creating equal opportunities and recognizing the strength and value in our diversity. Inclusion is not just a policy—it’s a culture we must all embrace.”
The Radical Inclusion campaign is being implemented nationwide, utilizing “education, sports, culture and civic engagement to promote equality and dignity for all Sierra Leoneans.”
