Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has received a donation of 300 bags of cement valued at $2000 from Hada Football Club to support the ongoing pavement construction at the SLFA compound.
During the handover of the donation by Hada Football Club, the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hada FC’s management.
The engagement was led by Hada Football Club CEO King David Kargbo. President Babadi Kamara further thanked them for their unwavering commitment to football development in Sierra Leone.
He assured that the donation will be put to good use and called on all stakeholders to emulate this spirit of support and collaboration.
“This gesture not only strengthens the development of football infrastructure but also highlights the unity and shared vision needed to move Sierra Leone football forward.’’ He stated.
Major works at the academy first started under the tenure of Isha Johansen before the erstwhile FA, Thomas Brima did major reconstruction of the facility. The academy currently hosts Sierra Leone Premier League matches and serves as a major training base for the national team among others.
