Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra Leone Football Association (Sierra Leone Football Association) has officially announced that its 2026 Ordinary Congress will be held on 27th June 2026 in Bo City at the Wizard Hall.
According to a press release issued on Saturday, April 25, 2026, the notice serves as formal notification to all members and the general public in strict compliance with Article 26 (1) and (2) of the SLFA 2019 Statutes.
The Association noted that the congress process has already been initiated within the required statutory timelines by the SLFA Executive, under the leadership of President Babadi Kamara. This move, the statement emphasized, reflects the institution’s continued commitment to good governance, regulatory compliance, and institutional accountability within Sierra Leone football administration.
The Ordinary Congress is described as the highest decision-making body of the SLFA, where key stakeholders are expected to deliberate on governance issues, policy direction, and the strategic development of football in the country.
The SLFA further called for the full cooperation and active participation of all its members to ensure the successful conduct of the congress, describing it as a critical platform for shaping the future of football in Sierra Leone.
