She expressed confidence in the credibility of the election, stating, “I wish to thank my team… for their support in the process,” and extended her gratitude to the members for their trust in the Commission to facilitate a transparent election.

Dixon, a lecturer at the Fourah Bay College, is regarded as a fearless journalist who does not mince his words. His fearlessness nearly landed him in trouble earlier this year when he criticised the Police Chief, William Fayia Sellu for involving in an investigation at the West End Police Station on Adelaide Street in Freetown. Dixon went into hiding for over 24 hours alleging that he received death threats from Sellu and some other police personnel.

Meanwhile, his followers are looking up to him to continue in that trajectory as he mans the leadership of newspaper editors for the foreseeable future.
