Africa-Press – Tanzania. Young Africans have confirmed that midfielder Feisal Salum will miss the Premier League match against Mbeya City on Saturday after picking three straight yellow cards.
The two sides meet at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, ready to scramble for maximum points in a tense encounter.
Briefing sports reporters on Friday afternoon in the city, the team’s assistant coach Cedric Kaze says the midfielder Feisal is the only regular player to miss the match.
He also narrates that Stephanie Aziz Ki, first choice goalkeeper Djigui Diarra, full-back Juma Shaban and versatile player Yannick Bangala are all back in the squad ready for the showdown.
A win by Yanga will see them establish a three-point gap lead on the table with 33 points plus extending unbeaten league run to 49 matches.
On his part, Mbeya City’s Paul Nonga says they will try to stick to their created game plan in order to carry the day.
“We are aware that it is going to be a tough game based on the fact that Yanga are currently in good form but we are also at our best,” he insists.
In their respective previous matches, Yanga defeated Dodoma Jiji 2-0 at Liti Stadium in Singida while Mbeya City breathed fire to force a 1-1 draw versus Simba at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.
