It will also support on-trade bars and eateries by training the outlet owners and staff against communicable diseases as well as provide technical equipment to transform their outlets. The project targets 2000 outlets in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza and the isles of Zanzibar.
One of the beer distributors, Kelvin Tegwa said the initiative would support customers’ confidence and they would be able to bars for food and drinks without fear. Being a brewer of alcohol, SBL has also made significant steps to take care of its customers by advising against drinking and driving.
