Africa-Press – Tanzania. EZEKIEL Wenje, who recently joined the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), has warned against inciting politics, saying it is dangerous for a nation and such a politician lacks the qualities to lead.
Speaking at a CCM presidential candidate’s campaign rally held today, October 15, 2025, in the Kagera region, Wenje said statements like these types of politics indicate a lack of leadership vision.
“It is very dangerous to have a political party leader who seeks to divide the nation,” Wenje said.
Wenje explained that a true leader values their life and is ready to fight with arguments and policies, not through threats or controversial statements.
In another development, Wenje praised Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for the significant work she has done over the past four years, especially in the areas of political reconciliation, electoral law reforms, and creating an environment for dialogue between the government and political parties.
“We have seen Chadema being repeatedly invited to the State House for talks. This never happened before. This is proof that the Sixth Phase Government has done great work in building a bridge of understanding,” Wenje added.
