Africa-Press – Uganda. Trusted unsecured lender, Unifi, continued its commitment to making life easy for clients by once again running their “Excuse My Loan” campaign. The campaign, which was first introduced in Uganda in 2023, offers clients the chance to have their loans written off live on the radio.

This year’s edition of “Excuse My Loan” ran from 30th March to 30th June 2025. The popular competition was featured on top radio stations nationwide and led to over Ugx 50 million in Unifi loans excused.

Unifi has been offering fast, simple, unsecured loans in Uganda since 2022, a product that is convenient, flexible, and truly unsecured, which means no collateral or guarantors required, without any payroll deductions, Unifi allows you to make flexible repayments using channels such as their USSD Code by dialing *282# or on whatsapp 0747 282 282.

Unifi now has 18 branches across the country. With “simplicity” as one of the company’s core values, Unifi has continued to introduce more convenient and easier methods of accessing finance for its clients. The “Excuse My Loan” competition is one of the ways they are making life easy.

The success of the “Excuse My Loan” campaign is an indication of the growing client base of Unifi, as the records show client participation from across the country.

Collaborating with community radio stations on KFM, Next Radio, and Busoga Radio, Open Gate, Q-FM, Radio West, Buddu Radio, and Mega FM, active Unifi clients were randomly selected to receive calls from their favorite community radio presenters. The presenters asked: “How can Unifi make your life easy today?” and if the clients answered correctly with “Excuse My Loan”, their loans were automatically written off.
