Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Zimbabwean winger Khama Billiat is reportedly linked with a union with former coach Pitso Mosimane in Saudi Arabia.
The 32-year-old former Warriors star is in the last five months of his Kaizer Chiefs contract.
South African publication Sunday World claims “Billiat’s days at Kaizer Chiefs are numbered and his services have been offered to Pitso Mosimane’s club Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia.”
Under Mosimane at Mamelodi Sundowns, Billiat was at the peak of his powers and won the CAF Champions League and Player of the Year in 2016, before he moved to Chiefs.
At Amakhosi, the Mufakose-bred winger has not replicated the form which made him one of the household names of South African football.
Nagging injuries have affected Billiat’s form at the Soweto giants, and club legends gave taken every opportunity given to criticize him.
