Africa-Press – Angola. The delegate of Justice in Cuanza Sul, Lino Kupenga, reiterated, this Thursday, in the municipality of Cela, the Executive’s commitment to improving infrastructure and IT resources in the sector, with a view to guaranteeing a service of quality to populations.
Lino Kupenga, who was speaking at the opening of the 3rd provincial meeting of justice officials, said that the Executive is investing in improving public services, which is why the Justice sector should be the flag bearer in this program, guaranteeing excellent service to citizens.
On the occasion, the official praised the work carried out by sector officials in the region, which is allowing the massification of the birth registration program and identity card assignment, among other services, in the 12 municipalities of the province.
In this sense, he exhorted the department’s employees to work with rigor and discipline, respecting the law and professional deontology.
“Kuanza Sul still has major challenges, including universalizing the right to citizenship, guaranteeing the security of legal transactions, as well as the registration of heritage assets. The implementation of these programs will only be possible with court officials committed to serving well, this is why this meeting is an opportunity for us to find the solutions that are required at the level of the sector”, he stressed.
He informed that the Provincial Delegation of Justice and Human Rights in Cuanza Sul planned, for the five-year period 2022/2027, the construction of registration stores in the municipalities of Porto-Amboim, Cassongue, Conda, Amboim, Quilenda, Mussende and Libolo, with the objective of bringing services closer to the population.
Under the motto “Bailiff and the challenges in improving public services”, for two days the participants will debate the current status of the registry offices, the programs for registering births, property and cars, the attribution of identity cards, the application of the Simplifica Project in the region, among other topics.
