Africa-Press – Angola. A counselor is, a priori, a reference. Because when they speak, everyone stops to listen…
This acceptance of the person leads many to heed the advice and act accordingly. This isn’t associated with the person’s title or position, but with what they do.
Let’s not confuse having a pulpit, microphone and spaces to speak with the acceptance of what is said.
Many commentators, both public officials and others, have already lost public acceptance, and when they offer advice, they are seen as hypocrites. They don’t experience what most people go through, much less empathize with what others go through.
When they give advice, they give the impression that those who complain don’t know what they’re talking about, that there’s no problem, that they should just listen to what we say, and that’s it, and everything will be fine.
Politicians, commentators and others, in these times, where almost all of our actions and the results of what we do are publicized, before giving any advice, must know whether it is accepted or not, especially those who deal directly with the public.
With social media, and more, it has become easier to do this research, because there is no point in talking when there is no one to listen; those who do listen, some do so only to criticize later…
We are in the digital age, where information circulates at the speed of light.
In this era, it is possible to know who knows how to work, who delivers results, whether the report presented reflects on people’s lives, whether the graduate is competent, whether it was possible to solve certain problems… In short, it is an era where what a person does, and is, speaks for itself.
It is to the detriment of what a person does that determines whether or not he or she enjoys acceptance, to advise and be noticed.
People should know, regardless of whether they are appointed to a certain position, have space on television, radio and newspapers, whether they are accepted or not.
Because many of them, in addition to exposing their inabilities, speak to the four corners of the wind, and arouse the anger of those who really need advice, and not to think that they do not know anything, that the problem is a lack of technical and professional training, and not of opportunities, jobs and financial resources to start an economic activity that solves their real problem (hunger and lack of opportunities for true human resources).
