Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and China discussed Friday in Luanda strengthening of sports cooperation during a meeting between Minister Rui Falcão and Chinese Ambassador Zhang Bin.
The two sides discussed various initiatives within the scope of bilateral cooperation in the sports sector, highlighting the positive results achieved in recent years and new prospects for collaboration.
After the meeting, the Chinese ambassador highlighted the importance of relations between Angola and China in the sports field. He emphasized that everyone recognizes the positive results of recent cooperation and the Chinese side’s interest in continuing to support and actively participate in joint activities.
During the meeting, the minister and the diplomat also discussed China’s willingness to participate in the celebrations of Angola’s 50th anniversary of independence through sports initiatives that contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two peoples.
The meeting is part of an ongoing dialogue between Angola and China, aimed at promoting technical exchanges, staff training, and organizing sporting events of mutual interest.
