Africa-Press – Angola. The book titled “Ecosistema de Liderança” (Leadership Ecosystem), an integrated approach to organizational culture and strategic management, by writer and university professor João Dono, was presented this Tuesday to readers in Huambo province.
The academic work, made available by the Luanda Academy of Leadership and Management, with a thousand copies in print, under the Whereangola Editora label, was presented in the auditorium of the Integrated Center for Technological Training (CINFOTEC-Huambo), in the presence of academics, students, and university students.
In a statement to the press, João Dono said that the book, with several short texts in 146 pages, offers a new approach to leadership based on three elements: people, culture, and management, combining various factors to achieve results, rather than the familiar division between leader and boss.He noted that the work, written over seven months, is the result of extensive research and is accessible to anyone interested, with the aim of drawing attention to the importance of good management practices in a company.
Before the book signing, the author presented a workshop on the topic “Winning from the Inside Out: Emotional Intelligence, Motivation, and Discipline.”
João Soares Silva Dono is the author of six published books, notably “Introduction to Angolan Law” (2013), “General Theory of Civil Law” (2014), and “Confecções” (2014).
The author was born on Maio Island, Cape Verde, and has worked in Angola since 2012. He is a PhD candidate in Law and Artificial Intelligence, holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law.With over 20 years of professional experience, he is currently the director of the Dona Leonor Carrinho Academy, a legal consultant, lawyer, behavioral profile analyst, and university professor.
Besides Huambo, the book “Ecosistema de Liderança” was presented on July 24th at the National School of Administration and Public Policy (ENAPP) in Luanda.
