Africa-Press – Angola. Angola defeated Guinea 84-68 on Thursday in the match of the Group C which counts for the second round, played at the Welwitschia Mirabilis Pavilion in Moçamedes City, south-western Namibe Province, taking a decisive step toward the quarterfinals of Afrobasket 2025.
Selton Miguel was the top scorer with 14 points, along with Real Madrid’s Spanish champion Bruno Fernando, who also contributed 14 rebounds.
This is the second victory of the national team, after defeating Libya 85-53 in the event’s debut on Tuesday.
On Saturday, Angola face South Sudan in the final round of the group stage.

Josep Clarós coaches the Angolan national team, while Nedejko Asceric leads the Guineans.
