Africa-Press – Angola. Huíla will be, as of the second half of this month, the fourth province in the country to benefit from Africerll’s telecommunications services, after Luanda, Cuanza Sul and Benguela, said the company’s commercial director, Mário Mateus, this Thursday.
According to the official, next week the signal will reach the city of Lubango (Huíla) and, likewise, the municipality of Porto Amboim, then the city of Sumbe, that is, in the province of Cuanza Sul.
In the segment of the country’s coverage extension program, until the end of this year the provinces of Huambo and Namibe will be covered and, during the first quarter of 2024, Cabinda and Soyo (Zaire) will benefit from the extension of the Africell signal , contrary to the initial program that provided for this operation in the first half of the current year.
In this segment, the commercial manager of Africell-Angola clarifies that the forecast indicates that the Africell telecommunications network will be in the 18 provinces in the next five (5) years.
Speaking to the press, on the sidelines of the signing of a strategic partnership between the operator and Tecno Mobile, within the framework of digital inclusion, which provides benefits for customers to acquire this mobile phone brand.
Regarding the agreement with Tecno Mobile, Mário Mateus, from Africell, said that this strategic partnership creates an opportunity to bring high quality technological products to consumers, supported by an increasingly faster and more efficient network.
The commercial director added that in one year of operation, the company has more than nine million users.
On the occasion, Silvestre Sunda, Tecno Mobile’s marketing director, underlined the level of demand of the national market and stated that “this partnership meets the satisfaction of Angolan users, due to the latest generation technological capacity that the means support”.
