Africa-Press – Angola. The General Tax Administration (AGT) in Caxito, Bengo province, recognizes that in recent times taxpayers have been complying with their tax obligations without a hitch.
Without giving any figures, in statements, the technician from the tax office of Caxito, Manuel Miguel, stressed that the AGT has registered a growth in the collected revenue.
With a number of taxpayers ranging from 50 to 100 covered by the general industrial tax taxation regime, the technician acknowledged that in recent times there has been an increase in the tax culture of taxpayers who access services to pay their tax obligations (declarative and contributory ).
He referred that in this type of tax the AGT has not registered evidence of evasion or tax evasion because the taxpayers are duly identified in the province. If they don’t do it in the provisional phase, they will have to do it in the definitive phase in May of the next year.
He recalled that at that time, the liquidation and provisional payment of the industrial tax was under way, which is the taxation that falls on the profits of companies and is paid annually in two installments.
In the province, the process is proceeding normally, he said.
The tax can be paid at the tax offices in Caxito (which serves Dande, Nambuangongo, Dembos, Pango Aluquém and Bula Atumba) and Ambriz.
He appealed to taxpayers not to default, but to comply with their tax obligation within the due date.
