Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan ambassador to the Russian Federation, Augusto da Silva Cunha, awarded, Saturday, in Moscow, Medals of Academic Merit, to twenty-five students who concluded higher education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level with excellence in the academic year 2022\23 in that country.
According to a press release from the diplomatic mission, 11 students who completed a degree in different areas of knowledge were awarded the Red Diploma, four in specialties at military academies and 12 who completed the Master’s degree.
The distinction of students who finish with excellence in educational establishments of the Russian Federation higher education at undergraduate and postgraduate level
was instituted by the Diplomatic Mission in 2022.
The Angolan ambassador to the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Republic of Mongolia encouraged recent graduates to apply technical and scientific knowledge to the advancement of Angola.
