Africa-Press – Angola. The deputy cultural attaché of the Angolan Embassy in Brazil, Luandino de Carvalho, met last Friday in Rio de Janeiro with cultural agents from Brazil and Angola residing in that Brazilian state.
According to the Embassy of Angola in Brazil, during the meeting issues inherent to the affirmation of national culture in that country, the revitalization of Angola’s cultural space in Rio de Janeiro, as well as improving cultural affinities between the two countries were addressed.
On the occasion, the participants congratulated the initiative, having expressed their total willingness to contribute to the elevation, prestige and making Angolan culture more famous in Brazil.
Still in Rio de Janeiro, at Aterro do Flamengo, Luandino de Carvalho, who is also the director of Casa de Angola in Bahia, socialized with a group of citizens who were members of the Angolan Emigrant Team and watched the group’s football match.
