The European Union (EU) and some Angolan institutions, through the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP), signed this Thursday, eight agreements for the Implementation of Action for Training and Technical Assistance, with funding of four million euros , within the framework of the EU-Angola Dialogue Facility Protocol.
The agreement, which lasts for one year, aims to support the thematic dialogue actions promoted by Angolan and European institutions to deepen the regular exchange of knowledge and good practices, in line with the National Development Plan underway in Angola.
Among the agreements is the Financing Policies and Practices for global science and technology, ethics and innovation, with dialogues between Angola, Mozambique and Portugal signed with the Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development.
Likewise, there is an agreement for the exchange of experiences for monitoring the development of human capital, in which the Technical Management Unit of the National Training Plan for Staff was a proponent for Angola.
Likewise, an agreement was signed for the exchange of experiences in the Management of Solid Urban Waste, having as a grantor, for Angola, the Provincial Government of Luanda and the Association of Municipalities for the Sustainable Management of Waste of Greater Porto (LIPOR).
Also an agreement for the best international practices for the preparation and organization of business missions, with the Private Investment Agency for Export Promotion (APEX) as a national proponent.
With regard to technical training in carrying out sanctioning processes for restrictive competition practices, the agreement was signed by the Competition Regulatory Agency of Angola.
Among the eight agreements, there is also the exchange of experiences on National Development Planning and the Evaluation of Public Policies, signed by the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
The seventh cooperation agreement is based on the exchange of experiences in standards for the approval and homologation of brands and models of road equipment, signed with the National Land Transport Agency of Angola and the Institute of Mobility and Transport.
The eighth agreement, concerning the exchange of experiences on home solar systems, had as signatory, for Angola, the Ministry of Energy and Water.
On the occasion, the European Union ambassador in Angola, Jeannette Seppen, said that these agreements are a practical facility since they make the connection between the institutions of the European member states and Angola, with the need to strengthen political dialogue. between organisms.
The National Director for Integration, Cooperation and International Business, from the Ministry of Economy and Planning, Jerónimo Pongolola, considers it an excellent opportunity to interact with European institutions in the context of training and exchange of experiences.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Private Investment Promotion Agency (AIPEX), Lello Francisco, said that the main objective of the signed agreement is to strengthen capacities, taking into account the experience of European counterparts.
