Africa-Press – Angola. From today, the city of Maputo will host the exchange week between the National Secretariats of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) of Mozambique and Angola.
The Angolan delegation is part of the board of the National Coordination Committee, representatives of the Government, the Extractive Industry and civil society, says the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas on Facebook.
From the 1st to the 5th of this month, the two delegations will review several topics in joint and specialist meetings, highlighting aspects related to the preparation and presentation of Reports to the International Secretariat, licensing and registration of mining and hydrocarbon activities, involvement of civil society, among others.
The members of the Angolan delegation held a preliminary alignment meeting on Sunday evening.
The president of the National Coordination Committee of EITI-Angola is José Malanga and of Mozambique, Isabel Chuvambe.
