Africa-Press – Angola. The republics of Angola and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela discussed, this Wednesday, the strengthening and deepening of bilateral cooperation in the field of industrialization.
This situation was addressed during an audience granted by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Vieira Lopes, to the Venezuelan ambassador to Angola, Marlon Pena Labrador.
The meeting served for both entities to assess the strengthening and deepening of bilateral cooperation, which is intended to be increasingly robust and close.
On the occasion, Domingos Vieira Lopes stressed that the two countries intend to work to boost the industrialization process and that Angola is available for investments from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, aimed at the sector in question.
On the occasion, the Venezuelan diplomat expressed his desire to see the 1st Angola-Venezuela Joint Commission held in Caracas, on a date to be agreed through diplomatic channels.
According to the senior diplomat, the holding of the said Joint Commission would deal, among other matters, with aspects related to the strengthening of cooperation in the fields of Culture, Mining, Oil, Education and Technical and Professional Education.
The Venezuelan ambassador also expressed his country’s intention to work, at a technical level, with Angola in air services, in order to make the country a point of exchange of flights between Venezuela and other countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Angola and Venezuela maintain excellent relations of cooperation, friendship and brotherhood that are considered healthy and fraternal.
