Africa-Press – Angola. Angola’s ombudswoman, Florbela Araújo ,is participating in the 25th Congress of the International Federation of Women in Legal Careers (FIFCJ), which has been taking place since Tuesday in Brasília, Brazil. The congress focuses on strengthening the role of women in promoting the rule of law and social justice.

The event, which brings together women professionals from the legal sector from various countries, is being marked by intense debates on current issues, such as the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on justice and gender issues.

The first day of work included lectures on “Artificial Intelligence and Gender Issues,” given by the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil, Carmén Lúcia, and the topic of “Artificial Intelligence and Protocols for Access to Justice,” presented by the magistrate of the Mato Grosso Court of Justice, Amini Haddad.

The Angolan delegation includes the president of the Red Cross, Delfina Cumandala, judges, and lawyers, representing a diverse group of Angolan women in legal and social careers.

The congress, which ends on Saturday, continues with thematic sessions, workshops, and experience sharing among jurists from different continents, reinforcing international cooperation and the role of women in promoting the rule of law and social justice.
