Angola participates in the Ministerial Conference of the African Political Alliance

Africa-Press – Angola. Angola participated, this Wednesday, in the 1st Ministerial Conference of the African Political Alliance (APA), in the city of Lomé, capital of Togo.

The 1st Ministerial Conference of the African Political Alliance is an opportunity for the countries of the continent to discuss current issues and challenges that Africa faces internally and externally, in a world in full mutation and geopolitical but also geostrategic recomposition.

The participants examined the perspectives and contours of a sovereign and uninhibited affirmation of Africa’s positions on the international scene, current issues and challenges of the African renaissance and Pan-Africanism, taking into account the ideals that guided the fathers of African independence and the founders of OR THE.

The agenda also included a political dialogue on issues of collective security, approach to the fight against violent extremism and terrorism, as well as the vision, objectives, main lines of cooperation and contours of the African Political Alliance.

Angola was present with the ambassador to Ghana and Togo, João Baptista Domingos Quiosa, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.
