Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan will host the 7th African Union (AU) – European Union (EU) Summit from November 24 and 25, an event that aims to consolidate 25 years of cooperation between the two continents.
The event coincides with Angola’s rotating presidency of the African Union and will once again place the country.
For two days, topics such as the EU-AU Joint Vision for 2030 regarding economic prosperity, human development and the defense of multilateralism, as well as digital acceleration, mobility and the fight against climate change, will be on the table.
The Global Gateway investment package for infrastructure in Angola, regional peace and security, economic integration, migration and the reform of multilateral institutions, will also be addressed at the event.
In parallel to the event, the AU-EU Business Forum and the Civil Society and Youth Forum are planned.
It is worth recalling that the AU-EU Summit follows the successful holding of the 17th edition of the United States-Africa Business Summit and the 3rd on financing for Infrastructure Development in Africa held in Luanda in June and October of this year, respectively.
