Africa-Press – Angola. The national director of politics and defence, Luís Muxito, this Wednesday appealed to the new military attaches to be the link to attract international investors to Angola.
According to Luís Muxito, the attaches should bring new elements to strengthen the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) in various defense domains, contributing to regional peace and stability.
The appeal was made during the inauguration ceremony of the new defense attaches of the embassies of Brazil, Colonel Helton Andrade, Zimbabwe, Colonel Teddy Ndlovu and Namibia, Captain of Sea and War, Liyambo IIGonda.
On the occasion, the national director of politics and defence, Luís Muxito, stressed that Angola has the experience of Brazil in the preparation of peace operations, which could be a fundamental element for Angola in missions in the region.
During the ceremony, witnessed by FAA general and senior officers, the national director highlighted the “excellent” friendly and cooperative relations between Angola, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Brazil.
He added that both countries share joint actions, mainly military exercises.
