Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan culture, specifically gastronomy and traditional costumes, was on the spotlight in Ankara, Turkey, at an international bazaar that brought together several countries accredited to the country.

According to a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Turkey, the initiative, organized annually by the Association of Solidarity of Spouses of Members of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DMEDD), is charitable and aims to support Turkish institutions.

According to the note, Angola was represented by Ambassador Filomena dos Santos, a member of DMEDD, and by diplomats and local officials from the Angolan diplomatic mission in Turkey.

The Angolan delegation presented and sold, at the event which brought together more than a thousand people, different made in Angola products.

“Turks and citizens of other countries around the world were able to enjoy the snacks, plant-based juices of national production, and alcoholic beverages of national brand,” the note reads.

The event becomes one of the great opportunities to learn about what each country produces in terms of its culture.
