Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan ambassador to Turkey, José Patrício, delivered the first Consular Cards to national citizens residing in Istanbul, a total of 300, in fulfillment of the 4th phase of the Community’s Consular Registration.

The act brought together resident Angolans, heads of families and their children, young workers and all those interested in taking care of legalization as national citizens.

Among the citizens are footballers Jesus Alexandre Morais, from Turkey’s Şişli Yeditepe Club, and Caetano Cando, from Konya Sport. The Consular Services covered the issue and renewal of Passports, Birth Certificates and the Consular Card, and also provided legal advice.

During the two working days, 152 Consular Cards were delivered, 5 birth registrations were made and 52 processes were collected for issuing National Passports.

The presence of the ambassador to Turkey, José Patrício, in Istanbul also served to ascertain the conditions of the future Consulate General of Angola.
