Africa-Press – Angola. The armed forces of Angola and Namibia highlight the cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the military field, which they have been cooperating with since their founding in 1990, shortly after their national independence.

This position was expressed during the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the Namibian Defence Forces (NDF), which were attended by the President of that country, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. The celebrations were attended by the Chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (CEMGFAA), Air Force General Altino dos Santos, who participated at the invitation of his Namibian counterpart, Air Marshal Martin Kambulo Penehas. During the ceremony, the Namibian President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, highlighted the presence of Air Force General Altino dos Santos, for having accepted his counterpart’s invitation to attend the celebrations. She also highlighted the historical relations that unite the two countries and peoples.
