Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda climbed to second place in the national senior men’s basketball championship, after beating Vila Clotilde last Friday night, by 112-69, in a match of the 16th Basketball round.
The match played at the Dream Speac Pavilion in the municipality of Viana, in this city, the oil formation was already winning at halftime, by 57-33.
With this victory, Petro (national champion) has 24 points, three more than their opponent in the sixth round, in a competition led by 1o de Agosto with 25.
On Tuesday, it should be noted, in anticipation of the round, the military, as visitors, defeated Akiria Academy, by 109-87. The two sets will meet again on the 17th round scheduled for the next 30th.
