Bengo gains nine new lawyers

Africa-Press – Angola. Nine lawyers from the province of Bengo received yesterday, Thursday, in Caxito, the professional licenses that enable them to exercise their activity.

Of this number, five are permanent and four are trainees, who swore to contribute to the administration of justice in the province and in the country.

During the ceremony, the provincial delegate of the Order of Lawyers (OAA), Bernardo João, asked lawyers to practice law in the province of Bengo where they are registered, respecting deontological rules.

He asked the interns to always be guided by respect for the constituent (customer) and to exercise their profession with dignity.

Jurist Eulândio Dembi clarified that the lawyer is one of those responsible for maintaining the constitutional guarantees of people in society, defender of citizenship and public morality, so he must be worthy of the responsibilities that are inherent in the exercise of his profession.

The Bar Association in Bengo controls 22 effective lawyers and 20 trainees. In 2022, it assisted 22 needy people (widows), with a view to bringing services to municipalities.
