Africa-Press – Angola. The bridge over the Nhenhe river, which connects the towns of Chingungu and Chiobo, in the main municipality of Cabinda, will benefit from rehabilitation work this year, said this Thursday the vice-governor for Technical and Infrastructures, Agostinho da Silva.
According to the official, there is already a strategic plan for intervention in the road network and the shackles in this section, and contacts are currently underway with the Ministry of Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing for the concession and start of the project.
“The recent rains caused the degradation of the bridge over the Nhenhe River on National Road 201, which connects the villages of Cácata, Chiobo and Zenza do Lucula”, he said.
The hydraulic crossing, located in the town of Chiobo and Zenza do Lucula, in the commune of Tando Zinze, has two border markets with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), which justifies the high flow of people and goods.
