The candidate on list 5 for the position of general secretary of the JFNLA, Carlos Cassoma, promised again, on Saturday, in Huambo, in case of victory, to invest in the technical-professional training of young people, with a focus on entrepreneurship and self-sustenance familiar.
Carlos Cassoma, who was speaking to the electorate in the province of Huambo, said that he will establish partnerships with the country’s technical and professional training centers, from the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP), through an action plan, for the youth empowerment.
The intention, he continued, aims to bring greater openness to technical-professional training vacancies in municipalities and communes, with due monitoring, for the necessary entrepreneurship, due to the fact that the Angolan Executive is unable to employ everyone.
The aspiring JFNLA leader said he was concerned about the current difficulties of Angolan youth, who need greater attention, with feasible programs, for a better future.
She informed that her program has four axes of leadership, with emphasis on projects linked to gender balance and cooperation with international partners, to raise the party’s bases with more women and with other African countries.
Also competing for the position of general secretary of the JFNLA are Bumba Paiva (lis2) ) and Vita Francisco (3), and Eduardo José (1) and António Kinanga (4) withdrew from the election for undisclosed reasons.
The JFNLA Congress, which will take place from the 9th to the 12th of January 2024, in Luanda, is expected to have more than 300 delegates from all over the country.
