Africa-Press – Angola. The National Bank of Angola (BNA) opened on Thursday an automatic payment terminal with 10 ATMs in Cuanza Norte province to promote more efficient economic transactions.
Some residents praised the central bank’s initiative ahead of the opening of its Ndalatando office, which is scheduled for this year.
They were pleased with the speed of operations given the number of ATMs available.
AdeĢrito Cardoso suggested installing more ATMs to make it easier for citizens to withdraw money, especially during salary payment periods.
The network of ATMs in Ndalatando has grown from 20 to 30 with the addition of 10 new ATMs.
The BNA office in Kwanza-Norte underwent rehabilitation work after being inactive for 30 years.
